GOLDEN ISLES II
Working closely with our clients, a family with three active children, we crafted a serene landscape for play and relaxation. Our design utilized permeable pavers and concrete bands to inform site circulation and achieve a sixty-percent permeability rate for all opens spaces, which meets the City of Hallandale Beach’s strict code requirements. An entry garden with raised a corten steel water feature welcomes visitors while capturing reflections of the sky above. Crushed shell pathways connect the front and back yards that parallel a dense vegetated buffer used to screen views of neighboring properties. The angled pool deck is tucked within character native trees to provide additional privacy while shaping long views down the adjacent canal. The proposed dock will cantilever over the seawall and have lighting beneath to attract fish and aquatic life at night.
